Data is fundamental to the work of modern government. To support civil servants in maximising the value of the data they collect, and in harnessing its potential to drive developments in areas such as artificial intelligence, Global Government Forum is convening a by-invitation-only Data Summit, bringing together data and digital leaders from across the world.

This exclusive event features roundtable discussions designed to foster open, in-depth dialogue on overcoming key challenges and sharing global best practice. Developed in partnership with public servants internationally, the summit will explore how data can power the government of the future, focusing on the skills, capabilities, governance, and standards needed to ensure effective, ethical, and impactful data use.

Discussions will also examine how governments are leveraging data to improve policy outcomes and unlock the benefits of artificial intelligence, offering participants valuable insights into enabling smarter, more responsive public services.

Through closed-door, invite-only discussions, the Summit will explore:

  • AI data governance and regulations
  • Using data to improve delivery and democratic trust
  • Building and sustaining digital and data capability and talent
  • Improving data sharing in government
  • Data sovereignty
